31. Be kind to yourself and pause for self-care when you need it.
“Give yourself some time alone to check in with yourself. How are you feeling, why are you feeling that way, is there anything practical you can do to help? Let yourself feel your feelings, cry and be sad if you want to, or punch a stack of towels if you want, whatever you need to deal with your emotions. Don’t feel like you’re being selfish by taking time away from everyone else, it’s important to take care of yourself.
